This is our rescued juvenile starling taking his first bath in a plate of water while our two cats beg to come back inside. He (or she… little hard to tell with birds) doesn’t know what to think of the water at first, but really starts to enjoy it. This bird is unreleasable, so he will be our pet. I still find it hard to believe what a big personality he has.

I woke up the other morning to the sounds of baby birds in the backyard so I decided to film the nest with a Mini DV camera mounted on a microphone boom stand. The result was quite amazing.
