An update on Diesel. I had to recently take him to the vet because I thought his mouth was bothering him; although he had only just stopped eating dry food a couple of days before, he was eating wet fine but as it turned out he had very inflammed gums and needed 7 teeth out in a 4 hour op! The inflammation didn’t reverse after 3 weeks so after running various tests, he has FGS (Feline chronic lymphocytic plasmacytic gingivitis and stomatitis) and also FIV We tried steroids, but while they initially seemed to help at a high dose, the imflammation returned on the half dose, so we are now trying Antirobe/Metacam. We are 12 days into a 6 week treatment. In the meantime, we are working on his weight and I bought this Da Bird type toy and was delighted that he actually loves it! He generally doesn’t like toys, but he loves this! For an (almost on the 31st August) 11 year old cat who is overweight and supposedly has very sore gums, I think he does pretty well
I have toys that I would like to use for a bird that I am getting in a few weeks, but have been used by my other birds. One is plastic and the others are wooden, some have bells, one has a dog bone type thing. I’m wondering if I should use boiling water or vinegar water or something else, and also exactly how I should do it.

Part 2 of bird toys. Again, always make sure your toys are safe, geared to the size of your bird, and placed in the cage so that if the bird gets stuck or tangled, he/she has the side of the cage to grab on to until help arrives. Also, ALWAYS supervise your bird for the first 10 minutes after a new toy has been added to the cage to make sure your bird does not get hurt with the new toy.
I just got two parakeets a female and a male i called the pet store and he said i will need a big bird cage so i can put a nesting box in it and bedding for the nesting box and also he is trying to sell me a nesting box for 15.00 isnt there any cheaper ones or he the pet store trying to make money off of me?
i just got my 2 parakeets and the cage the other day and the cage itsnt really big its about normal size they look pretty happy playing with their toys and everything but i wanted to put a nesting box in there and the pet store said i would need a big cage, can i make my own nesting box or is there like anything you can use in the house for a nesting box. People has told me to cut an empty water jug and but some leaves and branches in their cage to make a nesting box
ok i made this beed toy type thing and it seems he is scared of all the toys i make him and i even bought him a few but he is scared of them all

i was wondering if there is a certian way you are suppost to introduce the toy to him or is he just not gong to be a toy lover???

The box has its original protective cardboard inserts, an unopened bag of tanks, trucks and soliders, a working hoist, and working hoist hook. The bag of soliders etc. are not shown in the video.
